Simply pressing your fingers firmly on the baseboard or lightly tapping with the back end of a screwdriver will sometimes cause the wood to "cave in" if termites have been active.

Hey at least they helped in caving in the pool.I have seen a pool that is a solid 3 feet above of where it should of been.

A couple of months ago a storm came through and damaged a roof on one of my houses, we got the roof fixed immediately but it had caused a portion of the ceiling in the living room to cave in.
