You may have grounds for litigation against the PM.

One of my favorite quotes is from a Civil War General (Stonewall Jackson)    "Never take counsel of your fears".... 

Litigation is expensive. and in this case sounds complicated..

Meaning get to know the person first, some people will try to swindle you, some people will try to bully you, some people would try to file lawsuits against you when the civil phone call would work.

The history is kind of complicated, but after the mess of the Greek Civil War and the junta, so many Greeks had nothing starting out in 1974 with the Third Hellenic Republic that by the time we were in the runup to the debt crisis, most Greeks really didn't want to see their children denied anything.

A squatter that breaks into property gets to stay in the property until civil action rules on an eviction.

Consider more than just rental income, such as, prior tenant history, civil and criminal background, employment history, number of occupants for the size of the home, desired move-in/move-out date, etc.

As @Brie Schmidt pointed out if you are the tenant in an owner occupant 2-4 the Chicago Landlord Tenant Ordinance does not apply.You can try to challenge her in civil court (aka hire an attorney and file a complaint) but honestly, I don't think it's worth your time...if I were you, I'd just chalk it up as a lesson learned. 

I'd list EVERY lease violation, start eviction, file for vandalism, file criminal or civil charges, SCORCHED EARTH.
