@Jason CroweHi Jason,If you have a high enough cash value in a permanent life insurance policy (either a policy on yourself or one you own on someone you have an insurable interest in like a child or spouse) then you absolutely can leverage it to finance a real estate deal.

Do you buy other liens like HOA, IRS, child support, tax liens, municipal liens, etc.

Cats don't do well in new places and they can cause severe allergic reactions in people.

It's the same with pets some people are highly allergic to animals and will specifically rent in a no pet building.

I owed 3 months of child support, recently divorced, back home living with parents, driving an old car with over 100k miles and had been recently fired from a job.

This is not a situation I'd risk exposing my child to.

You may not include income earned that is not on a tax return, an administrator or PHA may consider additional income in that household, a teenager may mow lawns or receive child support that may influence funds available to that household. 

My two businesses are gameified, and I am just as excited sometimes as I was as a child when I was riding my bike to buy used computer parts using my friends piggybank money (my first OPM lol) and then sell a working computer for a profit!
