Get a circular saw and a sawzall and one of the led spot lights that uses your tool batteries.I usually do our tile back splashes and with the mosaics on mesh that are in right now a good pair of tile nippers and a large and small grout float.

But, granite typically takes at least a week from the time the cabinets go in until the granite is installed -- and after that, you have to have the plumber return to hook up the sink and you have to have the tile guy come in to do the backsplash.
