I'm a senior investor, and never, in no way will I acquire something I have never seen.

To me house hacking is one of the simplest ways of jumping into real estate an acquiring properties, especially if you are handy. 

The rents at purchase were not even 2/3 of my PITI (so crazy negative cash flow but one reason acquired below retail).  

I will still be on my radar, but i think small multi-families would be a bit easier for me to acquire. 

I'm not sure if I want to do co-hosting though.You may be like me and think that "one more book/podcast/course" will give me what I need to acquire whatever skill I'm looking for.
