My main issue with that methodology is it's an assumed gain.

We do cost segregation studies and and some have come under audit by the  IRS and have passed with no adjustment because of our complete documentation methodology that the client helps with.

I then test and create my own seo methodologies satisfying those reasons and more.  

It's a nice thing when it happens, but it's not a methodology upon which you can readily launch your business.If  you have an established track record and are willing to take a small slice of the pie, you could probably attract private money willing to partner with you.  

It's good to have an idea of what your methodology will be, but mission statements need to hit on some of the notes Ernesto mentioned to motivate those working with you.
