I am looking to purchase a 3-4 unit anywhere EAST Dallas.

We might move back to the East Coast in 4-5 years, so I’m looking for investments that can work well as a primary residence now and a rental property later.Income: Both my girlfriend and I have solid tech salaries (150k+ each).Current Portfolio: I don’t currently own any rental properties.Goal & Long Term Plan: I don’t love my current job so like many of you, I would like to create enough passive income through rental properties to have financial freedom and be able to work business ideas or side projects.

I have an MTR in East TN (SFH, 3 bed 2 bath) that stays about 98% occupied.

We’re in East Cobb so blue ridge is about 1.5 hours away.

As someone originally from New Jersey, I am interested in returning to the East Coast and investing closer to home.

Narrow down the focus even slightly: West Coast, East Coast, Midwest, price point, etc? 

In Minneapolis, the Downtown East Commons Park, initially built for Super Bowl LII, has helped attract office buildings and residential developments.

Look at Lake county   not the east side of the lake but the west side..

We have a lot of clients investing in East Ridge and North Redbank/South Hixson at the moment, with longer termed clients investing in Glass Farms and Alton Park for more of a long term appreciation play.
