Which printed documents are you holding on to and which could be discarded?

I recently read that in Portugal it's commonplace for people not to be able to flush TP down the toilet as their sewer infrastructure is inferior - they have to discard TP in bins.

What would be the use in having a grading system for property if it could be summarily discarded in favor of a blanket 50% rule of thumb accounting?

Kitchen cabinets can be had that can be very decent.I've bought pieces of used commercial office carpet that was like new that was discarded because a new company moves in and wants a specific look.Buying used appliances isn't what it used to be but from a tax standpoint...Just a few thoughts on frugality.
