I would assume that a flood (whether you're insured for it occurring or not) would rank right there alongside the damage caused by a tornado or other natural disaster where the landlord would be responsible for restoring the property.However, I wouldn't think you'd be responsible for any of the tenants belongings they may have had in the basement that would have gotten wet.

I'm sure if I call someone out of the phone book to deal with asbestos it will be pretty expensive, so I'm hoping for some referrals from people who have been in this situation before.Please let me know if you have a referral of someone good and reasonably priced for:Asbestos testingDemo (if asbestos found)Demo (if no asbestos found)Other fire restoration needs that I haven't thought of yet :)

There are many properties in this area which fall into that category, but I do not think this will ever be on that footing again - much of the grounds (3-acres) were sold off over the years so some of the grandeur could never be restored.

Don't even see it because they were hit so hard and haven't noticed the jobs, downtown building, Big events, airport restoration and modernization, occupancy rates, sports teams building state of they art stadiums etc.
