extreme cold.. so think insulation... and snow load.also when I owned a home in Kelowna BC  you had to check with your insurance carrier up there.. if you left in the winter you were required to have someone check on your home as often as daily .. if you had a pipe burst and you did not have the inspection service they would deny insurance for flood damage.other than that BC is Super Natural  !!! 

Find a good insurance agent in your town who has access to a lot of carriers.  

But I will say that every state and carrier will have their own set of rules. 

  - 25% in total expenses = $4,500- That's $13,500 in NOI (Net Operating Income)- Cap Rate =  $13,500 / $150,000 = 9%Actively listed right now in Grand Rapids there's a duplex at 142 Carrier Street NE renting at $600/ea ($1,200 total) listed for $130,000, and there's another at 649 Easter Ave SE that should get $750/ea ($1,500 total) listed for $145k.

We've found a few carriers who do it, but they seem to want your eye teeth as trophies before they'll actually sign you.

Make sure your carrier knows of this and ads a dba.  

Mail carriers mark homes as vacant during their routes, and that list is then made available to bulk mailers so they can save money by NOT sending mail to those addresses.Adrien Schebott That list is also not available from listsource.

With adequate coverage provided by a AAA rated carrier, you have nothing to worry about.
