Even before we decided to sell the property we were regularly receiving direct-mail postcards, no-ring phone calls, texts, etc.  

Having an exterior camera like a ring doorbell or motion activated flood light camera over the garage is fine, as long as it's disclosed in the listing for the home.

The walls and ceiling in that room were covered in rings of different shades of brown emanating from that chair - almost black at the epicentre and fading to nearly beige where you crossed the front entryway into the kitchen.   

With smart home features, like Ring cameras, smart door locks, and tenant screening software, you might be able to ask prospective tenants to view all photos, the virtual tour, and floor plan prior to requesting a showing.

I think you are going to have to face the fact that very few people of either party really want this.And real estate gets the most favored tax treatment of all right now, so your complaints on that score ring a little hollow.
