I primarily invest in the Wilkes barre/Scranton area, but I'm open to anywhere in eastern Pennsylvania.

Does anyone have experience with this type of transaction or maybe even know an accountant and or lawyer in the Eastern PA area that would be a good resource to talk to?

I'm pretty familiar with the East Bay and 2 years ago you could buy at market, update kitchen and baths (granite, light fixtures and MAYBE floors) for about $15-$20K and resell in 90 days for a net $60K +/- gain.Based on the number of ppties I see on the MLS now I'd say some of those "investors" probably got caught flat-footed, unless they timed the market exactly right-which I doubt.I just spent a week in far eastern Contra Costa County, in a "waterfront" town.

If it's eastern shore or western Maryland, I'm not sure but in all of the DC and Baltimore area counties I think you need to go through an eviction if they have taken possession of the property. 

Currently living in Hillsborough, NC and I have a few buy and hold properties in eastern NC.

I do quite a bit of lending in the eastern part of the state and seen some exceptional returns.

I'm in Memphis, but am also actively involved in Central Arkansas and Eastern AR.  

Still hammering away here in the Carolina's which the the whole south eastern states are great cash flow.
