I am writing this post to connect with any investors in Connecticut looking to talk about the local market, share knowledge, or even have a partnership for anyone looking to tackle this market together. 

If you like doing the first one, then tackle another one that is a little more involved, like redoing a kitchen and bathrooms.

I.e. the loan will pay out $5K if you have a GC tile the bathroom, but will not pay out $1K for materials if you tile the bathroom yourself.If you've got the funds to purchase a property and enough excess income (plus new rental income) to tackle updates over time, then you can go the conventional route and lock up that 30 year financing which is a great way to start out.  

I also have a background in electricity so I'm comfortable working with it.Never again will I tackle an entire room of drywall (I'm not great at taping/finishing), sagging floor joists, concrete or brick work, major exterior painting, or heavy landscaping/clearing trees and brush.

This is new to me and scares me, but I really want to tackle this fear and become comfortable with  investing out of state.
