As Warren Buffet has said: " When management with a reputation for brilliance tackles a business with a reputation for bad economics, it is the reputation of the business that remains intact." 

It is a nice way to tackle both with efficiency. 

An RMLO in some states could have been selling fishing tackle or cars 6 months ago, took a twenty hour class, got a job at a mortgage broker's office or bank and then start drumming up business in areas they don't have a clue about.

Well done, especially tackling both the income and the cost sides of the equation. 

If you learn in a hard way then you'd be able to tackle many things in the future and not depend on a coach for every move.
