If over plaster and it has never been painted the cost is higher as you need to sheetrock or smooth coat the plaster.I just removed wallpaper over plaster in one apartment that had rough coat only and it was pricey but for most places I would sheetrock.

For best results, we recommend using two coats with Paint SCENTsations in both the primer coat and topcoat when painting.Honestly, if I were the renter, after smelling it, my reaction would have been it's interesting but forgettable.

But I don't sugar coat anything.

I had the carpet pulled and the walls and ceiling washed down (the guy used bleach which I questioned but worked great), primed with Cover Stain, and top coated with Behr Ultra paint.

Any marks on it can easily be sanded off and the coated again.

Multiple (around 3) thinner coats of finish is better than fewer thick coats.

Usually, no tape or the single coat of mud is too thick.

He gave me a great deal for $4500 (3 coat stucco including material on a 1200 sq ft ranch home) Everything went well until he had to do the second coat.

And to get really nice results you need to sand, fill, sand more and prep everything nicely before you spray the two coats.
