Transformation can happen a few different ways; contribution to the sole property resulting in co-mingling, reliance of the other party on that separate account, use of the separate property to purchase a new item that is jointly titled, etc.If you want to plan for the future and protect your current assets, you need an attorney.

I am going to reliance no matter what to leverage the equity I have but  I don't necessarily want to dump it all into a 2nd home and trying to figure out a way to  do creative financing on that property  to leverage the equity.  

Again I have no problem for those in need ,But it is the Abusers that really get my cray .I guess the words Self Preservation and Self Reliance mean Nothing to the Give Me Give Me Socialistic crowd , VERY SAD .PS : I still have no interest in Investing in Detroit of South Chicago .
