What do you guys think?

Our kids are really young, we would like to put the LLCs in a trust to avoid probate, what do you guys recommend?

Hey guys,This is an update on my first post about a house hacking opportunity I'm settling on!

I'm from Toledo and know most of the turnkey guys. just make sure to buy later than 1950. don't get the knob and tube and plaster and lathe and cast iron sewer lines. understand that most markets that do turn key or section 8 are going to never appreciate like Cleveland or Toledo or tertiary markets like Akron or Cleveland.

The deal can make sense even if it doesn't meet some arbitrary "rule"  Thanks for the insight, everything you guys are saying has been extremely helpful.

The upside is if it was your primary the first $500k would be tax free Definitely talk to a tax guy BEFORE you do anything.

With that being said if you’re bound and determined to get a degree, get a degree that you make good money with…  One guy on the forum is an attorney that appears to have a mountain of confidence,  he’s an attorney, and it appears that he’s actually tearing up real estate..

These are the guys you want a good long term relationship with.  

Do you guys work remotely or are you tied to SF? 

I got her money back of course, I learned that being the nice guy (which I am known for) has to protect their clients interest at all costs and you have to really use your head and figure out how to get it done while staying the nice guy.
