I have droned on here but I'll end by saying that I think either market is a solid decision.

I live in Houston full-time and can easily get a photographer out within a day or two for around $150 (more for larger home or drone shots).

Just got an idea from a house description on Zillow..Anyone use drones in their marketing or out-of-state investing?

I've seen drones mentioned on here a few times in the context of looking at roofs pre purchase.

My hobbies consist of staying active through hiking/CrossFit, spending time with my loved ones and flying my drone whenever the opportunity comes my way.

City cares but it has to be reported...like by a neighbbor...because they have no drones, etc.  

I want to get into REI, because its actually working towards my own dreams and not working in a factory setting ( I build and repair government UAVs...drones) for someone else's dreams.

True, we live in a 'virtual' world, but photos, video walkthroughs or drone pix will not take the place of the actual tenant being inside the actual property they will actually be living in.
