I later I put it into a spread sheet so when I come across something I can see who would likely be a buyer.I also have a instapage through go daddy (free when you purchase a domain name) with a form to collect info.

If the domain is too broadly focused on general terms like real estate, mortgages, investments, etc., it will be completely meaningless from an organic search perspective.

They'll register a domain, such as buymyhousenow.com (although the matching domain bonus is a thing of the past), spend lots of money in a short period of time to rank it, make money off of it for a few days until Google gets wise, and then move onto the next site once it's de-indexed.This reply isn't meant to scare anyone away from SEO, especially local SEO.

Just make sure the property is not in a location that is needed for things like flood control and such where condemnation for eminent domain is possible (EX: flood zone projects)

A few definitions to know in this domain of land development:Raw or unfinished lot cost = raw land prices divided by number of lots derived from land planning actions Finish lot cost = the cost of the land, development impact fees related to land, and common infrastructure (i.e. streets, sidewalks, parks, schools, etc)Residual land value (RLV) = analysis of home prices less all cost to complete and what remains is what a builder can pay for land.
