In addition the real estate investment journey in flipping/whole tailing (no deals to date, still on the hunting mission, we’ll get there), my wife and I are considering moving out of our home (70% Ltv, been our homestead for >3yrs), getting rid of PMI to lower mortgage payment then renting it out as a positive cash flowing long term investment and buying/moving into a new home then rinse repeat in another 2 years.

Another option would be to work part time at both places to maximize the experience/money intake.I COULD ask for a raise but I need to be diplomatic about it, my situation is an odd one where I'm needing to take 2 week off every 4-5 months to visit my SO which is an absoluite hinderance to growth within the company I'm at right now while at my previous job, they are more understanding about my situation and needing to take time off.

Sure some people see properties as a cash cow as long as the payments go in, they might not care about the method - the house can look like crap for years, renters could be an annoying nuisance to the entire neighborhood - maybe fine for them, but that’s not me or the mission of my company.

My ultimate goal would be to replace my W-2 income so I can pastor full time and to also prepare for retirement from the ministry so I won’t be limited financially from helping other churches, missions, etc.I have an interest in a couple areas of real estate.

I don't particularly support the mission of the company, being opposed to government funding of the type we solicit, so that makes work here less fun than it may have been otherwise.
