It would trigger the due on sale clause so i'd have to consolidate the units into a commercial loan and then release them one by one.

I thought I was all set with loan forgiveness based on the original loan origination date, but then I learned that because I consolidated loans a few years after graduating to take advantage of lower rates, the clock restarted.I also learned that the "income based" repayment program is a scam. 

My guess is that the next year will see a lot of producers exiting the business and some consolidation (m&a) activity.

If you're currently bogged down by student loans, please request being put on an income-based repayment plan and consolidating multiple loans (if you have more than one of course).

I recommend you sit down with some banks and attempt to get a debt re-consolidation loan and transfer your balances onto it.
