For a kitchen that needs new sink, new range, new fridge, new white shaker cabinets, new granite countertops, new tile backsplash you are looking at 12k+For LVP it is maybe 1.25/sqft and then figure another 1k - 2k for installation.I learned first by calling and asking.

at a bare minimum, new paint and carpet/plank everywhere and changing out all the cabinet hardware, electrical covers, fresh light fixtures, etc. will make things look fresh and clean.

I find that interior designers make the best "contractors" versus a full blown builder.They value engineer better with paint and flooring, and perhaps some cabinets.

During this whole time I mucked around in tiny crawl spaces with mouse crap and snakes, cleaned sewage off of myself more than once, made at least two emergency room visits (one for drilling a hole straight through my hand installing cabinet knobs), sweated my *** off in attics in the summer.
