This is why I love real estate, no other investment vehicle that I know of that allows you to eliminate unavoidable expenses while still making money. 

I am really waiting with bated breath on this one for the first response: "I LOVE RENTING TO SEX OFFENDERS!!!"

I like construction, but love real estate.

I have also noticed that many retirees also are mom and pop investors.My full-time job is in law enforcement, and while I love real estate, I would prefer to not work in it full-time as of right now.

The dryers had a coin slot, but the washers took more money and had a coin slide device.Someone figured out early that year that if you put quarters in every slot of the coin slide and pushed the coins halfway in, just short of the point when the coins fell through the slots in the device, and then put all your weight on the slide and physically yanked the slide out again, the washer would turn on and you would get a free cycle without paying.

I would say 70% of our tenants here in Connecticut pay through our website and the other 30% either mail payment to our office or drop it off at our office in the rent slot. 

But I love real estate and I loved being around the real estate community. 

I love real estate and would love to create explosive value in this space.  

Big lesson learned: Vacation rentals are a business, I love real estate, I don't love the business of vacation rentals.
