If you're really interested in investing here I'd explore the city and network with local players.

On top of what everyone else said, I would say go to multifamily conferences and meet the players syndicating deals IN PERSON. 

Take actionIf I were you I would take the next 90 days and network to prospect the best players for your team! 

There are players that you may want to deal with in the future that may be concerned that you would slander them from the rooftops over the slightest of offensives.
