My inclination is to write it just like the lease names the Tenant, "Payable to: John and Jane Doe" and let them figure it out.I've e-mailed my attorney (asking him all these questions is getting ridiculously expensive), but was wondering what other landlords have done in this situation.

If and when you get into very large and complicated commercial deals development deals etc there are some very good RE attorneys in town. but they are 400 plus an hour.. so for plain Jane stuff your fee's would kill you and its just not necessary..

I know everyone has a favorite route they take.. tell us a little about your operation.My take on crowd funding is a little different I actually see them more of a Hard money lender ... with many really concentrating on rehab loans .. granted they do some equity deals but they really do quite a bit of plane jane rehab lending.
