I recently attended a fundraiser where a handful of social entrepreneurs all based on the west side (Franklinton and Hilltop) competed for grants, the community is passionate, and there are some smart folks with some great ideas that are leading the charge. 

Try contacting organizations such as local government, church groups, or contact the city chamber to see if they can run an ad for their business investors and entrepreneurs.

I definitely have the entrepreneur's mindset as I currently run 2 companies that I own.

Last night at a women’s entrepreneur night we hatched a plan!

Answering questions, providing direction....so I don't have to reinvent the wheel...giving support during successes and challenges (like when I insist on reinventing the wheel and it falls off the wagon).I believe a key aspect is that as entrepreneurs there is a part of us that wants & needs to fly solo...but then there are moments to meet up (like here on BP) and fly in formation.In relation to my RE Investing business I have found 1st & 2nd tier mentors through my REIA meet ups, trainings I have attended, and colleagues.

I started this thread and sought out an REI forum with the hope of gaining the objective advice and feedback from seasoned investors and entrepreneurs with much more experience than myself. 

I rent out an apartment attached to my own home, and I have had so many problems with tenants -- and so FEW problems with Airbnb guests -- that I can't help but wonder if an entrepreneur came to my own rental with a proposition that I would necessarily say no either, particularly if there were a monetary incentive for me.
