It's REALLY tough to time the stock market I have found dollra cost averaging to be great way to invest over the long term.IMO right now is quite a unique down cycle in the real estate market in that prices, as well as interest rates are very depressed and there are some amazing opportunities out there.

My kids NOR my husband have lost wages, (son lost about $300 a month side gig but stimulus check will even that out, and now he's delivering food as a side gig)  and we are committed to sharing the pain somewhat and not playing "We're more prepared so you can just suffer" song that is depressingly popular on this site.
