Why are cheap and nice looking houses on the market for 300+ day?

Posted

Im seeing what appears to be really really nice looking homes on websites like Zillow and Redfin for literally between 20-30k.

The houses don’t look run down at all, but actually look renovated. Looking at the advertisements, nothing worrisome is mentioned, yet some of the houses have been on the market for 300+ days..

Why aren’t people buying them? I’m tempted to buy one or two in cash as my first investments to use as rentals, but I’m suspicious on why no one wants them..

What’s the general rule with this?
