stick your hose or whatever in there and see how far it goes, then lay it on the ground above the pipe and you will see were the blockage is.dig it up, cut the pipe in half, and get the junk out of there. if it is black corragated 4 inch pipe, then you can get a coupling for 3 dollars at home depot and then wrap some duct tape around it. if its DWV pipe or SDR just go get a 4'' coupling for 3 bucks and slap that baby on there, glue is preferred but not needed, there is no pressure.if you are having trouble locating the blockage, try runnin the hose from the drain end of the line not from the gutter downspout end.hope it works, steven

I would inset the wall so that the fire place was only about 6 to 12 inches deep and then tile over the wall with some cool tiles or rocks to compliment the existing stone/brick.

BTW, you don't want windows fitting tightly, while an inch and a half is about as big as it goes, a gap allows for expansion and contraction of the wood and windows.

i am surprised you even ask for their help. i like to talk to the master tradesman (the two stores i go to have "ex" master plumbers, electricians, etc), but i know who they are. the rest, i dont bother. they are clueless and ignorant. in their defense, HD is a terrible organization and threats the employees like dirt. i dont like lowes, their prices are higher. i know every square inch of my stores and i often times help customers that are standing next to me. too bad about the coupons though..
