I would figure a title search would reveal any liens or clouds on the title, and title insurance should cover you in the event something comes up in the future.

You would be better served to provide the trustee with whatever information you would like to have passed on to the beneficiary.The only legal process available to you is to take legal action against the trust in an attempt to force the trustee to reveal the beneficiary.
