Private is an option too, but again, a pay for service on top of the permit fees, etc.   

I do have additional coverage for the sewer since I knew it may have issues before I bought the property. 

When I asked my agent about options to back out, he didn’t really offer any advice.

Your only option will be to find a job to supplement your diminishing ability to sustain your standard of living.The income must last throughout your lifetime.

If funding is an issue, you do have some options.

There was an STR boom when many people bought homes here thinking they could have passive income, but that is not the case here as much as it is in places like Asheville (which is still seasonal, but not as much).

If you are looking for an investment option that they connect with, have you asked anyone at ETC for options?

They just bought it last year, so not much equity, still $760K on the mortgage.

Be sure to research rental demand, zoning laws, and financing options before deciding.
