Whether you spend time networking, reading books, watching videos or connecting on bigger pockets or if you spend cash hiring a mentor, maybe partnering up with or doing free intern work for a real estate investor; whichever route you decide to go investing in yourself is one of the best investments you can make.

I have read and also been told that a trust can be sued.

Overall the best way to start learning is listening to podcasts and reading books.

Does anyone know of a blog I could read or possibly a podcast I could listen to each morning that gives me a simple update on daily market trends?

I'm not your buyer, but I would ask those questions after reading it. 

I read @Dan Deppen's earlier response on this thread and I think what Scott might be doing is employing RMLOs to originate his loans, loan servicers to collect the payments and attorneys to review his contracts and make sure he is compliant with all the laws and regulations.
