If I did, I'd find a place I really like to visit and be prepared to spend a lot of time there making connections.  

Those are my thoughts and the things you have to tighten up if you actually want to offer this as a service. 

You could go to work for a remodeler too perhaps giving bids, selling service or see if they will train you to be on a crew.You could also go to work as an ISA for one of the big wholesalers. 

Typically if you attend any investor meetings about 1/2 the crowd in many groups are agents looking for business.If you want to network, try service clubs, alumni groups, charities, religious groups, hobby groups or whatever interests you.

On the other hand, I’m hesitant to simply pay down more of a property, as we don’t need the immediate cash flow.Fortunately, both my wife’s job and mine are recession-proof, which allows us to be a bit more aggressive with our investments.I’d really appreciate advice from investors who have experience with frequent moves or military service.

If it is with HUD, did they foreclose or is HUD servicing the loan? 

People had to move to used  or as we did had to open more services to match different box configurations.  

In my market, I only have one vendor qualified for appliance warranty work, and the warranty companies paid him half his standard fee for each service call.
