That was 6 years ago and I haven't had an issue yet after fully resolving the issue (half ABS replacement and half liner inside the pre-existing clay pipes).

@Theresa Harris the was a pre-existing inspection that I decline to redo because there was drug use and lives in when I went to make my repairs.

They also have "pre-existing conditions" that are exclusionary; if the water heater fails but it doesn't have a particular attachment, it's an exclusion. 

My market is mainly made up of vinyl siding homes from the 60s, i had the bright or maybe not so bright idea to brick the front of a flip in my area to outdo the comps that are only vinyl.. this is if the preexisting foundation allowed for it...Is it worth it?

What I don't know is how this may be affected by the fact you have a preexisting lease that does not contemplate assistance.

Some warranty companies will allow claims for undetected pre-existing conditions, but you would still have to have an inspection report showing the HVAC appeared to be in basic working order by the inspector.
