Remember not everyone has the same perception as you do, it's why some people don't do business with companies that most people consider highly reputable, and some people refuse to do business with anyone but an unscrupulous company.

I know landlords that run two cars, an old battered up a Focus for tenants, a 6 month old E class Mercedes for personal.So choosing a car is about perception.

Any property that hangs on the market too long becomes ignored, people start to think something is wrong with it if others in the same price range are moving and it takes a big dip to gain attention......or take it off the market and let that perception die. 

The police will come when they have an opening, they just won't come down with their sirens blaring, etc. 

I am a 25 year old Senior Process Engineer working full time in the optical industry overseeing manufacturing operations for producing perception glasses and part time BiggerPockets fanatic/ Investor. 

So the purchaser's perception of his/her "personal obligation" may be different from his/her actual situation in relation to the debt via an LLC.

Bring the perception from the house needing a "Full-Gut Job" to "Update". 

One thing to consider is optics/perception from your chain of command.

Get an inexpensive motion alarm and set it up next to the easy access point (back doors/windows) and hook it up to an external 120+ db siren and external flashing red lights.
