If you can lease it quickly, you know the market, you know how to get to restaurant decision makers locally, then it may make sense to do it yourself; however, if the leasing function cuts into your time for your primary job, then probably makes sense to outsource it.

Just my opinion, but if I were going to start an ALF I would find a company that manages them (i.e. all the hiring, scheduling, etc) so practically everything is outsourced.

Well @Jason Graves, Personally i wouldn't pay for asset management, that would be my roll. of course if for some reason you don't have 2-4 hours a week to deal with it then perhaps you could out source it.

I would think this is a good first step to decide if you think it would be worth it, maybe you'll hate the entire negotiation process and decide you want to outsource it.I'm not an attorney or agent so this is just an outsiders opinion.
