Networking with other investors and professionals is crucial for learning and finding opportunities.

PMs should have the widest network of contractors, knowing the good from the bad, better pricing, insights into rental rates/ condition of rentals to not over develop your unit.

Start small with manageable deals, educate yourself continuously, and build a strong network and team to support your growth.

Networking with experienced investors, running the numbers carefully, and focusing on solid markets have worked well for many.
