I'd have no issue if they mailed me or scraped TOT info to reach out etc, but to use a businesses platform to market and take revenue away, and have to disguise your contact info to do it...no thanks.I realize some of that is just the name of the game, and plenty are ok with prospecting this way but for me you can use the demographic of STR owners without directly sourcing via the competitions platform.

I'm a new wholesaler in Columbia and am in the process of rolling out a direct mail campaign to locate deals.

Over time I have dwindled that 300 owner list down to approx. 200 owners that I have sent 3 rounds of direct mail to this year.

@johnunderwood Lot of changes out there:  The NAR lawsuit ruling, the TCPA text law, SC double-close law and don't forget GA's new law banning direct mail RE solicitations unless it is clearly marked on the envelope, which means your expensive letter is most likely going directly into the trash can.
