@Faith Burton I wish I could get a better look but from what I can tell the can got shook up, that traps bubbles in the varathane and they stay once applied if the can isn’t gently stirred to release them.

Which makes it even more twisted since in some places the landlord can be held liable if there is criminal activity associated with their property and they do not take proactive steps to prevent it.If the laws are as you describe, why isn't every bloody business owner with a retail location not "subject to arrest" for having audio/video surveillance in their stores? 

Turns out the water had been turned on at 10am today, and from that time until 4pm when the seller walked in and noticed, the toilet upstairs had been gently burbling over the top of the tank, running down to the floor, and finding its way into the basement.

And to be honest, there could be more but we are trying to be gentle with our tenants and not expose them to too much change too quickly (although some of it is unavoidable).  

While I do have some personal experience in this area, in my view, many people like to twist things to their own benefit rather than doing what is proper.
