You're an REO listing broker so naturally you don't want to hear anything that may remotely suggest a biased offering of info to the buyer, & that's cool.

Using two specific points in time is not support, it’s selection bias.

Here is the thing - our brains are wired to be more sensitive to a loss compared to the possibility of even a much larger gain and we are biased to try and stop a loss.I think I need to take a step back and think about this like it's a totally new deal, and I have no stake in it, would I invest in this deal now based on all the facts?

Since you’re a broker, I wonder if there’s not an inherit bias in your attitude toward a method of transaction that eliminate the broker commission from the equation?
