It'll take some time but I see Anthem and all around the plant growing significantly over the coming years, small multifam and sfh's may be a good buy up around there.

Ocala is definitely growing and can get great deals in comparison to the rest of FL.

Hey @Logan Barwick, I personally like option 1, but this depends on what your strategy is to grow your real estate portfolio.

I already make a living out of real estate and I'm not planning on ever leaving this space, I'm here to stay. 

If you ever incur a state income tax in MO, you would typically be able to take that amount paid as a credit against your KS taxes paid, so you won't end up double taxed to both states.

As times goes on I see my real estate growing much quicker than stocks as most of my current investing goes to real estate.

There are good relations with the neighbor so this likely wouldn't be terribly difficult to pull off, but I haven't ever developed a property from scratch so I would definitely like the opportunity to partner with someone on this to help ensure the success but first I want to finish the smaller property to have sufficient funding available if it is needed.

Then it really grows with each additional one. 

This year’s most popular areas are known for being fast-growing cities with plenty of new development, with healthy job growth in Florida and Texas in particular.

You may also want to look into 2-4 units as those are the easiest to finance and help you grow faster.
