Do you have any experience using a piece of land as collateral for a construction loan?

It's important to me to know other like-minded people with similar goals, who are going through similar things...so I would love to meet some other Cleveland investors to hear about your portfolios and experiences in Cleveland (especially those in the 44102 zip). 

Anyone have experience or know anyone I could talk to about getting work done in that area?

@Kenneth Jenkins you forgot to mention owners that expect a PMC to use contractors off Craigslist that are unlicensed, NOT insured and rarely have acceptable experience/skill - but, they quote the "best" price.These same owners will sue a PMC if using these types of contractors results in a tenant lawsuit.

You have to, have to, have to, weigh their opinion against your experience, goals and other's input.People who lead organizations got there by following the status quo, and making the same limited assumptions as the people before them.
