I had a foundation engineer walk through and said it would be about $12k to place in several steel I-beams and carbon fiber reinforcement to maintain the integrity of the walls for both of these properties. 

This would indicate some form of differential settlement; for these kinds of fixes, it's good to use those carbon fiber wall repair straps but I have yet to repair brick.

Even though every fiber of my bone wants to say pay it off.... it would be the worst decision to pay off your 10k of stundent loan debt.

Remove all the skin and replace it with fiber glass to make it lighter.

He recommended sanitizing the attic, doing an attic top off with new orkin borate cellulose fiber insulation since my insulation is not meeting R-38 standards as per Virginia rule (mine is R-16).

Even without stains the fibers in traffic areas were noticeably worn and the carpet looked quite shabby (it's since been replaced by hardwood). 

However I have a few roofers stating that fibered roof coatings are better for more distressed rubber roofs.

The best option is a wood framed house with fiber cement siding and a steel roof.  

I'm going to do it per person on a standard diet so just multiply it by the people in your house and adjust for dietary restrictions.

They have switched to using Fiber glass rebar versus metal.
