I'm a big fan of Dallas/Houston -- the strategy you pursue should be dependent on the property management resources you have in that market & your appetite for property maintenance (higher for STR's).

I agree though, I am not a fan of being forced to open bank accounts to use features, and so I certainly have no interest in Stessa's cash management nonsense.

After moving out, we re-stained the front porch posts with a darker stain (photo is pre-stain), replaced the front door, did touch-up painting on walls and trim, installed new keyed-alike locks on front/back door, and installed a vented bathroom exhaust fan that wasn't there prior.

There is less demand for assets in tertiary markets.I'm not a fan of all 1 beds, but that depends upon the market.
