Would love it to feel like a hotel with all the options for them to choose.

I've seen some really good hotel/motel conversion to MF properties in Spokane lately, retail value-add in Tri-Cities and Wenatchee.

To qualify, property owners must meet specific criteria:Guest stay duration: Rentals must average no more than seven days per guest.Service level: Owners must provide services comparable to a hotel, such as daily cleaning, meals, or transportation.

Office still seems to have some struggles, hotels I think will struggle for some more time, not sure about other avenues.

I enjoyed what I did building cool bridges and hotels, but I was not too fond of the daily in and our grind.Jumping ship has brought bigger challenges, but I am happier tackling them with people I love working with.With respect to real estate & being a landlord, it's honestly something I do NOT ENJOY that much either (dealing with HOAs, repairs, vacancy, etc.)...unless you can buy properties and completely offload the property management, which was and is hard for me to do with my scarcity mindset. 

For illustration purposes, here's a fresh example that was brought to me: 95% seller financed  for 3 years I/O at 6% for a 30 door hotel.

We live in the front half and airbnb the private entrance 1 bedroom, 1 bath, living room (hotel suite style) back half that is separated by a door that we deadbolt.

You'll need to consider local Hotel Occ Tax to determine what you'll pay each month, and if the city/HOA is becoming more favorable or hostile towards STRs.
