@Michael AddisonIf you're just getting started in Cleveland I would recommend being in areas on the West Side of Cleveland like West Blvd, Cudell, Old Brooklyn, Clark Fulton, Edgewater, Jefferson, and Brooklyn Centre.

I know this is a very old thread but if anyone comes across it I wanted to add some additional thoughts that might be helpful.

I've had a few of those where they stayed 4 years and were pretty easy on the house. 

We have completely gutted all homes and old infrastructure.

I would also weigh if you plan on staying in the home you are in now for a long time or move in the next 5 years.

Sorry to address such an old post, but when I saw it pop up on google and I was familiar with the company, thought I would share my experience. 

An other advantage of paying with credit card may be that you will not have to send the provider a 1098 tax form (only an issue if the total yearly amount is over $800). 

Grandpa and Grandma take five acres on the back forty and punch in a well and sewer (when it was cheap to do so), run some water and sewer lines with the old backhoe.
