It has great cushion on it and has a lot of forgiveness for an imperfect floor.it is waterPROOF, not just water resistant like some other lvp. 

Now I only install vinyl plank flooring in all of my apartments, its cheaper, looks nice, waterproof, and very scratch resistant.

Usually the path of least resistance is to house hack a property, live for "free" and save up enough money to press full steam ahead!

They are scared that they are going to lose their home and will resist if you do not handle it properly.... make no mistake about it, it is their home.

Practically every component they offer requires a workaround, so I've made it work for me as a path of least resistance for the time being.

We have in our lease that, at move-out, tenants are required to clean the carpets as part of returning the unit to move-in condition, and, depending on the type of carpet, applying a stain resistance coating such as scotch guard.

Talk to the carpet guys but stain resistant is the best bet.

As you mentioned, for some reason people are resistant to that sort of change up here.  

If that’s the case, and you have an enemy in that small a group, your path of least resistance may be to reset and try to get some empathy flowing your way.
