Try and steer people to using an online application and have a paper one handy for people that may not want to do one electronically.

In my case, it's mainly for getting a picture of any Social Security Cards before signing the lease electronically, so it's pretty infrequent.

If the software is not simplifying your life or making you more accurate, you shouldn't use it.Software does have extremely helpful features like online payments, marketing syndication (click a button and your property is advertised on multiple sites), electronic document review/signing, maintenance tracking, and owner reports.

It's in my lease that electronic payments are allowed but that date received is when funds have cleared landlord's account.
