Better is to define the relationship upfront and then if you both gel together and have the same goals then take on the client.If not just say it upfront but on both sides some people are not straight talkers and have a hard time expressing themselves.

A tenent could apply their credits to the home in which they live or any other AVAILABLE house.I don't see the chain of contingent liabilities on the entire inventory (unless you define inventory as unoccupied houses that are ready to be occupied).
