You found a new tenant immediately, so there's no financial loss to you except for the time spent marketing, screening, etc. 

@Anthony Swain @Brandon Croucier  Found a Five unit in my price range and the numbers work which is really hard to find in the area.

Some hosts have found that more bathrooms are more attractive than offering a large living room, but I think it's somewhat market and guest avatar specific.

I also found a more experienced investor to partner with on this deal so it was a great way to learn and prepare myself for owning my own property.

If you have ever heard the saying you have to be in the game to win the game, I have found that you have to look for properties constantly to find the deal you want, but along the way you find a lot of other properties, that if you had your real estate license you could have made money on. 

I've also pretty much exclusively found these properties through the MLS.For those of you who have done 1 or multiple deals, how did you find your first one?

Hi @Sabuj Banerjee,In general, in the Southwest FL markets, cash flow for SFH's is expected to be slightly negative at current interest rates, so I would recommend starting with a multifamily propertyNew construction duplexes can be found in both Lehigh Acres and Cape Coral.

We found this property had good bones and bad pictures on Zillow.
